Hi Everyone,
So we are nine weeks in with a newborn, wow how crazy is having a baby? Credit to all the sleepless parents out there-how worth it though. We love our little bundle of joy – she is already part of the furniture here at the cafe- I think she may be ready to make coffees very soon.
Just a bit of an update on what’s happening at Firefly coming into winter:
– We are desperate for quality staff – as you might know we only hire quality, passionate staff and in return we provide a stable working environment for them – please drop in asap if you can see yourself being a part of the Firefly team
– Friday night dinners are back up and running, keep up to date with the menu on our website
– Firefly turns 5 in June! Despite having doing this for 5 years now, we are still just as passionate as day one and enjoy what we have created her at Firefly and try our best every day
– Coming to Thursday nights through winter is social pizza night – home made pizzas in the woodfire oven washed down with cider – bring the family, find some friends, warm, relaxed and casual, stay tuned!
– Parking – don’t be fooled by the couple of parks out front – there is plenty of parking around us with just a tiny walk! and you can come through the back door on Baty Lane if you have parked closer to that entrance. Mort St, Clifford St, Milne St, Russell St are my streets to check for a park.
– for the comfort obsessed we are air-conditioned, fire-placed, table service, friendly – you will be looked after at Firefly
– we open 7am Tuesday through Saturday for breakfast and change over to our lunch menu at 11am
